I'm Laura, board founder. I got the idea for this forum from an email sent to my by board member mrsconfused. Basically, we wanted a place where we could talk about our lives sans religion. You can introduce yourself on this thread or create your own. I'm not picky! Tell us anything you want, and if you have a personal blog or website, be sure to include it (spam will be deleted, though)! I'll start. Here are some basics about me: I'm 26, currently living in Arkansas, married, have a three-year old daughter. My career is currently writing and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I used to be a Baptist, but later became an atheist (something you don't have to be in order to be a member here), but you can read all about that on my blog redheadedskeptic.com if you're interested. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I'm so excited that you have started this forum. I had to leave the christian forum I was posting on when I was still calling myself a christian because they were driving me crazy. Now that I'm not calling myself a christian anymore, it seems to be impossible to find an online place for women. So Thank You!!
I'm Becky. I'm a 37 year old woman who is married with two kids. Right now I am a stay at home mom but am planning to start school in september. Both of my kids are in school full time so it's time to do something for me. I have worked off and on since my son was born twelve years ago - more off than on though.
I live in Southern California. Looking forward to meeting some awesome women!

Hello! I'm 27 years old, a newlywed (10 months! No kids!) and I am in graduate school for Library and Information Science. I've called myself a Christian since I was born, but have been struggling with questions for more than 10 years now, so I don't really call myself anything now. I play the violin professionally too, just not enough to make a living off of it :-)
Sooo excited you started this Laura!

Hi, people! I live in Brazil so my nickname is in Portuguese on purpose. It means "freethinker". I'm 53, have three grownup kids and three grandchildren. I also take part in an atheist organization here in Brazil.

Hi! I'm Krystal, and I'm 16. I've never really been into religion (my family is religious, but they're more "liberal Christian") but I've only been calling myself an "agnostic" for a few months.

Hi, I'm Rosa. I'm 35, with a 5 year old son and a 30 year old domestic partner, an elderly cat and a young cat. I'm pagan, but my partner is an atheist. He also came from a really homogenous area/family - they're all Catholic, they all live near each other, his family never moved or changed churches or anything. So he's not very good at considering that his audience might not be all the same as him.
