ha, Rosa, I didn't post anything about my kids at all. Olivia is 6 and Aiden is 3. I love 'em, but they are a handful! No more for me!

Yeah, i kind of wanted another when he was 2 or so and weaning, but my partner got down on his hands and knees and begged me not to. Now I'm really glad we stopped with one. It just gets easier and better all the time as he gets older.

Hey all I'm Grace. I'm 20, live in Australia with my wonderful fiance and three out of control ferrets. I'm on my way out of a brief fling with fundamentalism, and I'm glad to have escaped relatively unscathed and to have put all that behind me. I'm still a Christian, but there would be plenty in the fundamentalist/ evangelical world who would doubt I am saved.
My main hobby is the internet. I'm not sure if that means I'm really boring and antisocial, or if its just because I work too much to have time for anything else. Either way, I'm nearly always online, and even if i'm not, thanks to my trusty iphone, the wonders of the world wide web are never too far away. My favourite online places include twitter, facebook, my blog, Google Reader (for the reading of other people's blogs), the No Longer Quivering forums and my local newspapers. On the rare occasions I can be prised away from my keyboard, I enjoy playing with my ferrets, baking, sewing and staring at tall buildings and thinking about how they were made.
So hi everyone *waves*. This looks fun, and I'm sure it will be great to get to know you all.

Hi, I'm George. I am not a woman but I do share my life with one heck of one. We have three sons and one daughter, ages 2, 5, 11, and 3 respectively.
I was born to a mildly religious Anglican family, which led me to trying to figure out this whole "religious experience" thing, I flirted with fundamentalism for almost four years and currently consider myself either an agnostic or a lukewarm Christian depending on what mood I wake up in. My better half is a weekend Catholic, and our children attend french Catholic school. I am a salesperson, currently selling cars. In my spare time I am writing a book with a YEC friend about the creation/evolution debate from a Christian perspective.

Ha, George, I liked this - "consider myself either an agnostic or a lukewarm Christian depending on what mood I wake up in" - That's kinda how I feel most days too

Hi, Grace and George! Nice to have you on board!
I can identify with the lukewarm Christian/agnostic thing, too. I'm not there anymore, but I spent quite awhile trying to wake my Christan self up!

I'm Steve, Laura's husband. I just finished my penultimate semester of law school at the University of Arkansas. I work part-time as a law clerk for a probate attorney here in Fayetteville. One day I hope to return to school and get a PhD in history.
I'm an atheist and pretty much have been for the last five years. I was a fundie Southern Baptist when I was a kid, but college liberalized me significantly.

Hi! I'm Scott, aged 45, and I live in Alabama with my wife of 21 years and 5 kids ranging in age from 19 - 7 (4 boys and the baby is a girl). We also have 4 cats and 2 dogs.
I would describe myself as a liberal christian who's come out of evangelicalism over the last few years but isn't ready to chunk Jesus. I feel more comfortable talking to a gay or an atheist than a fundie any day.
Since I am neither a woman or an atheist I will probably mostly keep silent on here unless I'm just busting to say something. I look forward to it.

Hey, Scott, you are more than welcome to say whatever whenever! (PS I am working on that forum, but it is a lot more confusing to navigate than proboards, so it is taking me longer than I thought it would. I haven't forgotten!)
